To clarify el capitan does not make the mac os nvidia drivers incompatible. the os x nvidia drivers from apple bundled with the os do indeed work. you changed your card and got drivers from the developer not apple, and there is where the breakdown exists.. Download drivers for nvidia products including geforce graphics cards, nforce motherboards, quadro workstations, and more. update your graphics card drivers today..
